Let’s Turn This Trend Around

The Problem – There are 30.3 million people in the US with diabetes, 23.1 million diagnosed and 7.9 million undiagnosed. We are talking about 10% of the US population and it is estimated that 90-95% of people with diabetes (PWD) are type 2 diabetics. There are many that have not received any education in caring for their disease. There are not enough educators or resources to provide services for these people. They do not have a sound navigation plan to lead them to a healthy life with diabetes under control. They have relied on friends, family, and the internet to provide them with a plan, some good and some not so good.

The Solution - Totally About Diabetes is a client centered and virtual based service. The goal is to provide a navigation plan developed with the client’s input. Each plan is personal with direction and support being provided along the way.

The result – a client with diabetes under control and thriving in life.
