‼️Legislation to force companies that own health insurers or PBMs to divest their pharmacy businesses within three years is being introduced today in the Senate and House by Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and Reps. Diana Harshbarger (R-Tenn.) and Jake Auchincloss (D-Mass.). NCPA endorses the legislation, the Patients Before Monopolies Act, which NCPA's Anne Cassity says "will go a long way in eliminating the conflicts of interest that currently exist in this space.”
