BodyListening in 3D: Envisioning What and How We Touch consist of a series ofstand-alone classes 1 day (6 hours) that will explore what lies under the skinand how this depth of informed massage touch affects the physiology of invarious parts of the body.
The first 6 hour class will be Sunday, March 3, focuses on the abdomen and is designedto help you be comfortable in knowing what lies below the skin of the abdomen,as well as how to release restrictionsto give our cells the ability to receive the vital energy supplied by the blood,lymph, chi and nerves.
The second 6 hour class will be Sunday, March 17th and will focus specifically on creating healthy blood, lymph and nerve flows within the pelvis. I canoffer 6 Louisiana CEU’s for each of these classes.Explorationwill include the location and function of the circulatory system, the lymphatic system, the immune system, and the nervous system within each segment, as wellas the benefits that are received by the whole organism. Knowing what you aretouching and how you are affecting deepens your work tremendously.
The first hour will be an overview of the manual, followed by each of you receiving a treatment with discussion ofthe techniques I am applying so you can experience the work that is found indetail in your manual while the rest of the class observes and asksquestions. You will be asked to givefeedback on what you are experiencing and ask questions as well. The final hour will be 30 minutes practice ofgiving and 30 minutes of receiving. The class fee of $250.00 will include receiving a mini treatment and an in-depth manual, with time to practice on each other. Class size is limited to 4.
