Due to a wrist injury I haven’t been able to do the job I have loved; clinical massage therapy. It has been a long recovery with “no end in sight” seemingly. One of the things about my job I miss the most? Auntie Margaret, a Hawaiian healer who unleashed Lomi Lomi into the western world and beyond used to claim that when you do massage work, you pray with your hands. I believe that with my whole heart. I also admit that my sessions with people have always included heart and silently spoken prayers, too. And THAT is what I miss most. I don’t think I realized what an impact the art of praying so much has had on my own life.

So why this post? While I have been recovering, my high school lifelong friend has reached out to encourage me to start leaning again on my creativity. And with his ideas and belief in me, I have had something stir within that I think has been there a long time, just waiting for me to tap into it.

I am creating a “brand” called Heal At Home. I envision content (up and coming) for a YouTube channel with the same name, hopefully someday a podcast and happening right now? I am creating this page (please like and share!!) which will start to help me get my product ideas out for you to browse! Each work of art or hand made product are items that I am spending energy making, (one handed!!! Lol) but also PRAYING OVER. Just like I did for clients. But this time? I want the prayers to continue being present and alive within the creations so each time someone sees them, they remember prayers have been prayed over you or over the person you gift a product to.

I will soon be taking orders on candles. And they can easily be purchased via Venmo or get in touch with me for other options. The candles are designed to help “heal” - each having crystal pieces that have known healing qualities. Each candle is unique and each one has specific prayers for healing.
