CSNJ offers expert, comprehensive, compassionate and efficient care for our patients. All patients are seen by Dr. Richard Finkel via a Telemedicine platform who then orders and guides the appropriate diagnostic testing and treatments when needed. Dr. Finkel was recently the Medical Director for the Saint Clares Center for Sleep Medine on New Jersey for 10 years prior to founding CSNJ.
Snoring is often very disturbing to the sleep and health of the bed partner.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea is a serious medical condition that is often under-diagnosed and unrecognized and can be especially severe. It is linked with comorbid conditions such as excessive tiredness, motor vehicle accidents, Morbid Obesity, Hypertension, Atrial Fibrillation, Congestive Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease, Stroke COPD, Asthma, and Diabetes.
CSNJ understands that it is often excessively time-consuming and a hassle to get efficiently evaluated for Snoring, Sleep Apnea and other Sleep disorders including the appropriate evaluation, testing and treatment. A major focus for CSNJ is to arrange for a timely initial medical consultation, home Sleep Testing when needed, often the same day as the initial consultation with a follow-up visit to discuss the results and the appropriate treatment within 1-2 weeks.
CSNJ is very experienced with ordering oral appliances for snoring and mild-moderate sleep apnea where appropriate and with ordering CPAP/BIPAP equipment with local suppliers. We also review the CPAP/Bipap therapeutic and compliance data, which is downloaded wirelessly directly in our office and we are here to assist you with accommodation to the equipment as needed.
CSNJ gladly services both patients and referring physicians. If unsure which sleep test is appropriate for you or your patient, we will be happy to see your patients in consultation and fully evaluate them for sleep disorders and then arrange proper testing and treatment.
