We want to wish Sarah Viola well on her new adventures in Wisconsin. While the Aberdeen Area will miss her skill set greatly, we are beyond thankful for her time here. Her passion for OT and the way she cares with a servant’s heart is beyond appreciated. She is a beautiful soul who poured her time, energy and resources into Brain Intercept, the clients & families she served and to the area. We are all better for knowing her and want her to know how thankful we are for her time here. We wish her all good things for her future - Wisconsin is lucky to be gaining you! 🥰❤️🤩

With the changes happening, Jenn has found a new therapy “home” and will be transitioning to Modern Day Healthcare in Aberdeen. She is excited to be able to continue to provide her quality care at this location. Be watching for announcements through Modern Day Healthcare once the insurance credentialing process is complete and Jenn is ready to treat patients. It should be soon! 🤩

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you, we will be closing at the end of the month.
Since November of 2020, we have served Aberdeen and the surrounding community by helping to support those living with brain related concerns. It has been a pleasure serving our clients and community.

Thank you to the Langford Area School for having us as part of yesterday’s career fair. We had a great time sharing about our profession, what “occupation” means to all ages and how we serve clients in our region.

We love what we do and appreciated the opportunity to share that joy and passion for a helping profession. It was a great way to spend our afternoon!

Did you know...
The autonomic nervous system can be re-tuned?

Your autonomic nervous system regulates all your body systems. It helps your body shift between automatic states (safe/social - fight/flight - freeze) and the goal is to keep you moving between these states. Sometimes however, our systems can get stuck.
When our body is perceiving safety, or threat, or danger our auditory processing center hears these perceived states in certain ways.
The Safe and Sound Protocol supports this listening and re-tuning by recruiting and exercising muscles in the inner ear. When paired with therapy, this intervention can be a way to help you regulate your autonomic nervous system and improve overall health.
