This summer marks a Milestone of Mine.
40th Summer doing hair.
I feel fortunate to have picked a career that I love still so much, The people I have met and experiences it has been a blessing forsure.
40 years just like that.
This is a Picture of me in Beauty School and a Picture of me earlier this year..
I truly believe I will always be a Hairnerd..

All Redken's Shades Eq love the versatility of this color..I used it to tone to get desired shade of blonde, to turn a natural level 7 to Fire Copper, to blend and warm up old color, and to ad a dark gun metal.. slide to see 👀

Story time..
I have always worked from doing chores as a kid, and when I was 12 I worked fulltime in the summer babysitting..I did this til my Summer after my Junior Year I went to Beauty School fulltime..I then chose to work in a Restaurant at night to provide money for school, etc..this was my Senior year in High School, very busy time.. I soon graduated from high school and shortly after Beauty School..I then worked in a local salon in Montesano and still worked nights in Restaurant..mind you, I had no car but one thing I can say I am determined..Then I moved onto 2 other salons before I went for my job at Studio West..I worked so hard and had myself booked in 6 months.. and such long hours..
Now 35 years later i am at the top of my Career breaking my goals...
Pandemic..
shutdown

Today I apply for unemployment the first time in my life. I have always provided and supported myself.. as a woman that takes pride in my hard work ethics ...
As a Business Woman and to have this experience is amazingly humbling...😭
But being self employed I am blessed to have this option...
