Footsteps Counseling's mission is to provide the highest quality of mental health services to men, women, adolescents and children age 10 and up. Footsteps Counseling has highly qualified and trained Counselors that are licensed by the State of South Dakota. out the change you want through increasing self-awareness, gaining insight and working towards resolving difficult situations and conflict. Addressing overwhelming challenges and defining solutions can lead to a more meaningful and fulfilling life. While, we cannot change your negative past experiences, we can work together to better understand and resolve the struggles you are dealing with. If you are seeking therapy for an individual, family, teens, a child or couples, Footsteps Counseling can help. If you are court ordered we may offer group therapy to satisfy your sentencing requirements.

It's international women's day and we couldn't think of a better opportunity to show off our fearless leader, Heidie. 🌼🌿
Heidie started Footsteps Counseling in 2016 with a little office and big dreams. Her skillset and compassionate care has led us to where we are today! We have been serving South Dakota with mental health care for nearly ten years, and that's an achievement in itself! Without Heidie, Footsteps Counseling wouldn't exist. We are grateful for the team we have. We are also grateful for our clients who reach out to enhance their mental wellness! We hope to continue to support South Dakota's mental wellness for many years to come!
