DO NOT SIGN UP FOR AN ADVANTAGE PLAN!!!! This is a good comparison, you will also most likely have higher deductibles and Copays with and advantage plan. You are NOT going to save money by switching to an advantage plan. SUPPLEMENTAL PLANS ARE OKAY, they help supplement your traditional Medicare. Advantage plans do not.

I am so frustrated right now. I’m doing Billing for work and it is so upsetting to see how many patients have been tricked into signing up for advantage plans. I think it is wrong that these plans even exist and I think it should be illegal for them to talk patients into switching to them.

you may think you’re saving money and it’s the best thing since sliced bread but it is not. Your coverage is horrible and it will not save you any money. 

Here is a way to think of it, “They are taking ADVANTAGE of you if you sign up for this”.
