Please make sure all exhaust vents from your residence are clear of snow and ice debris, if these outlets become blocked or restricted the Carbon Monoxide will back feed into your residence.
Carbon monoxide is know as the silent killer and each year, at least 500 people die in the U.S. from accidental CO poisoning. Additionally, approximately 50,000 people in the U.S. visit the emergency department each year due to accidental exposures.

Yesterday we lost a special man. Jeremy’s Uncle Gary Kellar Sr. has a very special place in my heart. When we met, I wasn’t sure what to expect, We were from two different worlds, two different walks of life but he showed me that none of that mattered, because all you need is love, an open heart and good family and friends by your side. I’m gonna miss seeing his truck pull up this Veterans Day with an ice cold beer to have on his tailgate. It was something special we did together.
Last year when we purchased Jeremy’s family home across the street, Uncle Gary mentioned how great it would be to sit at his dad’s old bar and have a beer with friends. That’s all Jeremy needed to hear. His late nights of hard work were greatly appreciated A few weeks ago, when Jeremy’s Uncle Gary got to do just that. A moment in time I will never forget.
He’s resting in peace now, pain free and in his wife’s words, “he’s running in fields of flowers now!”

Just a little appreciation post from Human Resources - Last night, while getting ready for dinner with family, he got the call. Your roof was leaking. He didn’t hesitate, because your home and the work he has put into it truly matters to him. So, instead of the nice outfit, it was back to the work clothes and the truck to see what he could do in the rain to help. He assesses it, runs to grab the materials and he’s back on the roof to finish up just as the sun goes down.
Problem solved, dinner with family and friends is over now though but at least we are just in time to catch The Boathouse for a quick meal before the kitchen closes.
Sacrifices are made when you own your own business, as so many of us know. Late night hours and weekends of hard work sometimes take precedence. Time with family and friends gets shorted from time to time to make sure our customers who are also our friends are taken care of.
But this man right here goes above and beyond for all of us. His customers, his family and his friends and he does it without hesitation. He works so hard for all of us and today, I just wanted to take a moment and acknowledge all of his hard work. It’s not every day you come across a contractor like this. Your home is in good hands.

Today, We’d like to take a moment to congratulate a member of our Urban Sticks team. Imani Chase joined our crew earlier this year, working side by side with us, giving it her all, absorbing all the information possible. She’s a hard worker and a dedicated member of our team and today, she has reached the goal we set on her first day. Today, she opened her own painting company. ( I. C. PAINT)

Every now and then, I spend some much needed time in The workshop out back. Not sure if you guys know how therapeutic it is to work with your hands. Art therapy is a beautiful tool I have been using to calm my mind. Here’s something I finished a little while ago that Jeremy Peebles hung up for me last night.
