An outside window at the Tift Regional Medical Center ER was struck by a ricochet bullet on the night of Friday, April 4. This created a spider web crack to the window. No patients, visitors or staff were harmed. The ER was placed on a brief lockdown as a security measure until the all clear was given by the Tifton Police. The police are investigating this matter.

Big things are happening at Southwell Medical Nashville Primary Care! Renovations are now underway to add more treatment rooms, expand the waiting area, and improve patient flow. Nashville Primary Care is still open for business during the renovations.

Congratulations to Dr. Brad Lindsey for this well-deserved honor!

Dr. Brad Lindsey, ABAC class of 1991, has been selected as the 2025 ABAC Outstanding Healthcare Professional Award winner!

He attended ABAC before finishing his undergraduate degree at Mercer University in Macon. He has worked in Tifton as a neurologist since 2004 and now serves as senior neurologist and director of the neurology lab, helping diagnose neurological conditions in the community.

Brad is an avid traveler, having been to all 50 states and all seven continents! Congratulations to Dr. Brad Lindsey!
