Knee pain is affected by ✌🏻 things:

👉🏻 Weak Muscles - no brainer
👉🏻 Irritated inflammation - what exactly is this?

Inflammation is when the body kicks into high gear to heal the affected area(s)

But because of our busy life and day to day tasks, our healing and recovery protocol is compromised by getting back into our routines before we’re really taken care of

🥗 And although nutrition is the start of a proper recovery, there are areas that movement doesn’t actually help - such as fascial healing (a thin layer of connective tissue that surrounds and supports the body’s organs, muscles, bones, nerves, and blood vessels)

It’s one thing that many of our clients (including Matt) never knew about and once we started working on healing the fascia, everything started moving better

3 Fruits to help with your Fatloss Journey!

It’s really that easy…

Without having to follow a crazy diet (like keto or carnivore which have become very popular for fat loss), the secret is adding foods that boost your fat burning processes while following a custom muscle building program

The more efficient and consistent your nutrient intake, the better and faster the results!

These are only 3 fruits of many that help stimulate the body’s fat burning processes:

3 ways to boost your confidence without going to the gym - especially if you’re past your 30s

A common misconception is that the gym is the only way to feel good about yourself - or feel confident b’coz of how you look

But what no one tells you is that your physical appearance is simply an outcome of what truly builds confidence - your healthy habits.

That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go to the gym, please do! But don’t make that your primary focus for feeling better about yourself.

What do healthy habits look like?

▶️ Bettering your sleep

The recommended aim is 8-10hrs of sleep

Sleep is the stage and phase of a persons day that allows for recovery and proper hormone regulation.

The lack of proper sleep can actually greatly decrease your energy, efficiency and productive with your day to day tasks

▶️ Structuring your meals

“As within, so without”

If you’re not mindful of what’s going into your body, you are ultimately setting yourself up for groggy days and foggy thoughts.

Your gut health is your ultimate mood coordinator.

Happy gut, happy body

This is often the hardest one to moderate so leave a “GUT” below to properly hack your mood

▶️ Manage your environment

This doesn’t mean you become a control freak.

Simply set your environment up to help build you into who you desire to be.

Whether it’s:
the people around you
Who you talk to
Having routines to follow in the morning and night

Manage what you can, and let go of what you cant.

There are certain foods that can burn fat and build muscle almost instantly…
Well, sort of.

There isn’t just one specific food that does this,
It’s often a combination of foods.

The way they mix together, the way they are broken down, the way they actually nourish your body rather than just sit there and damage it like processed foods do.

Thats not to say you have to completely ditch what you love to eat and completely change your eating habits starting now… although that would be ideal in order to hit your fat loss or muscle growth goals faster

Instead, using our Tilted Scale Method would be your best approach.

But before diving into that,

Its important to note that unless you know exactly what’s going into your body, it’s nearly impossible to hit your goals AND live long enough to make the most from it.

For example: Gaining weight is easy.

➡️ You can binge eat - which is never advised and not healthy whatsoever

➡️ You can overeat - which could damage your organs faster

➡️ You can dirty bulk - meaning you’re eating anything and everything (with an emphasis on processed foods to hit weight gaining goals)

➡️ You can lean bulk - which is eating as clean as possible (our recommended take)

Same thing with losing weight, dropping fat, anything regarding your health and well being.

At TBD, we go around the generalized approach by seeing what it is YOU need in order to hit your goals.

And how do we do that?

You’re not going to believe it until you fully ingest this…

There’s no other way to do it.
It’s just 3 steps;

1️⃣ Motivation

Motivation is fueled by inspiration.
The only difference is that motivation comes from within and inspiration comes from without.

Inspiration sparks creativity.
Motivation sparks deliverability.

And although they go hand in hand, unless you channel that motivation the moment it comes into something that will push you forward, it’ll ultimately drift away like a leaf in the wind.

Once you’re motivated, you have to take action!

And once you do, you get into the second step much easier.

2️⃣ Discipline

Discipline is probably the hardest of the steps to maintain…

Not because it’s difficult, but because it requires the most effort.

The moment you set your mind to take action from your motivation, discipline becomes as simple as just showing up.

- Making it to the gym even when you don’t want to.
- Eating that meal that doesn’t look as appetizing as the fast food restaurant around the corner.
- Getting out of bed early in the morning.

It’s doing what you have to do even if you don’t feel like or want to do it.
Because if you want something you never had, you have to do something you’ve never done.

Discipline start when motivation stops.
You just have to keep going, and step 3️⃣ comes regardless!

3️⃣ Results

Results are an outcome of previous efforts compounding over time.
Meaning the more you do something, the greater the reward!

Your focus needs to stay on the first two steps.
If you focus too much on only the results, you lose the ability to control what’s in front of you.

But if you focus on channeling your motivation to affect you positively to take action, you position yourself into discipline.

And when you position yourself in discipline, the results flood in - almost immediately.

Without a track record or someone to hold you accountable, your goals and dream can remain distant for longer than needed…

So find someone who will embark on this journey with you!
