Testimonials:
After suffering from extreme symptoms of fibromyalgia for 3 years, my new physician, Gillian Adams, MD., persuaded me to begin some type of exercise. My body was so out of shape. I had lost so much of my muscle mass, so I wanted to find something that would not be overwhelming for me, not painful and I could advance at my own pace. Finding Peat is a blessing! Peat began coming to my home once a week for individual classes. After accessing my capabilities and health problems we began "gentle" yoga. Peat designs a curriculum for each class for my own unique limitations and capabilities. He not only demonstrates a performs each pose but also explains the benefits of each position. Peat is genuinely a kind and compassionate person. I have made significant strides not only in my energy level but also in my muscle mass and flexibility. I honestly feel like a new person!

After experiencing escalating arthritis and increasing pain for several years, I found myself unable to participate in activities that had always been a part of my life. I had started working with a personal trainer and had begun a weight loss program, but although I had some relief, I still could not regain the mobility and flexibility that I had always had. My doctor suggested that I consider Yoga and recommended Peat Purol who she indicated had been able to help other patients through his practice. Fortunately, I listened to her advice and began working with Peat. Within only a few months, my flexibility and mobility had increased remarkably. After almost a year, I was able to resume many of the activities I had lost. Shortly after our first year of working together, I learned that I would need a total knee replacement and was worried that would undo all the work we had accomplished, but much to my delight, I learned that the work we had done and the flexibility that I had regained would enable me to recover in half the time that would have been anticipated and with almost no loss of flexibility and movement. Even the surgeon told me that the Yoga practice and Peat had clearly enabled me to recover and even improve on what could have been expected with just the surgery and physical therapy.
