Making your own sandwich bread is really one of the easiest things to do! And I promise you will love it way more than store bought!

I have a friend who teaches Biology. She shared this with me tonight.

Been trying to grow mold since Nov 24th for a lab experience.

That's our wheat bread with that beautiful mold!! Check out those other 2 bread slices. She said the Pepperidge farm feels like it just came out the oven and neither of them show one speck of mold!! 😱👀 Take note that Pepperidge farm is a grain/wheat bread, "the one they advertise as healthier."

Y’all, it's over 2 months in. The level of perservatives/chemicals in that stuff is scary!! Real food molds.

Did you know we carry nebulizers?

Part of the reason why I am in natural/alternative medicine was because I was a sick kid!

I spent many hours doing breathing treatments with albuterol. The feeling that I had after those treatments were horrible!

Nutrition is a huge part of your health!

There are so many hidden toxins in our foods today that were not there years ago.

My family still eats sweets, we still eat bread, we still eat some fried food.

But our mindset is everything in moderation. And we try to make as much from scratch as possible!

One thing that I do to stay ahead of our busy schedule is to make as much ahead as possible. So that means figuring out what freezes well!!

Three things that go in the freezer that help us stay ahead are:

🍪Cookie dough
🍞Sandwich bread
🍓Fruit jellies

I will show you how we do our cookies!
This keeps you from making a huge batch so you feel like you have to eat them all! We freeze our cookie dough and then just take out a few at a time. So then they are freshly baked when you want them!

1. Make your favorite cookie dough recipe.

2. Using an ice cream scoop (choose which size you want! We use a medium sized scoop!) dip out individual cookies, place on a parchment paper on a baking sheet.

3. Place baking sheet in the freezer.

4. Let freeze for 2+ hours.

5. Take baking sheet out and place individual cookie dough balls in a ziplock freezer bag.

6. Label bag and place in freezer.

7. Take out how many you want and enjoy anytime!!

God never ceases to amaze me!!

Today I had two sisters in my office, one from California and the other from Florida. They are both originally from Tulsa, but they both always make time to come and see me when they are back in town!

The conversation is always great! Lots of laughs, maybe a few tears and non stop encouragement from these wonderful ladies!

And this picture right here…makes my eyes water just a bit.. 🥹

My daughter’s horse got hurt a few months ago and we have been in the search of a replacement for several months to no avail.

Morgan has been a great sport about having to try different horses but this particular day was a little upset about missing her good horse.

We just happen to be at a rodeo that was a little ways from home and some of my patients are a rodeo family from that area and they were at the same rodeo!

Well they always haul one of their good horses that the grandkids do not ride, just to keep them with the other horses.

After seeing Morgan struggling with a new horse, she walked over and said I have a horse Morgan can ride. I at first said, “oh that is so sweet of you, but you don’t have to do that!”
Because if anyone knows horses, you can’t always throw a new rider on a horse. It’s not as easy as it looks. But I felt God nudging and saying it will be okay.

So I said “if you really think it will be a good fit, then okay!”

Well they did do great. And not only did this wonderful women let her ride her horse, she was coaching her up on her and she was at the back gate getting her in the arena and yelling for her just like she was one of her own!

I was and still so grateful! ❤️

Morgan came out smiling from ear to ear and said “man it’s good to ride a good horse again!” And just like that her love for it came right back!
It was just a little bit of hope she needed to keep going!

I can’t say thank you enough to this family! But more importantly, thankful to God for always taking care of us no matter how little the issues are! God knows how big they are to us!
